WheretoShare's mission is to make the world a better place by providing Internet
access to the definitive database of opportunities to volunteer and share. Whether
you are 8 or 80, opportunities are available to share time or money, but are not
easily accessible or searchable in a single location or database. We have developed
the website to allow users to search for opportunities to share in the areas of
children’s causes, animal rescue, homelessness, foreign aid, mentoring, hospitals,
veterans, the elderly, physically or mentally challenged or abused, AIDS, religious
causes, disaster relief, the environment and more. Searching is done by location,
type of cause, organization and date.
WheretoShare connects people to meaningful opportunities to share and volunteer
in their own backyard, at the location of their next holiday, while on summer vacation
or across the globe. Picture waking up on a Sunday morning inspired to spend the
day helping others. You can log-on and see that you can help build a house with
the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity, clean the Bay with a church group, run
a 5K for cancer, feed the homeless in a soup kitchen or bathe animals at the Humane
Society. In the aftermath of a natural disaster, you can log-on to see where and
how to help.
There is no doubt about it – people feel good when helping others. Whether it’s
giving blood, cleaning up a park, writing a check, building an orphanage in Africa,
rescuing abused animals or distributing food after a natural disaster, the world
is a better place as a result of those actions.
The hidden benefit of sharing is that blessings and fulfillment are bestowed upon
the sharer. WheretoShare.org will help to reveal and share this opportunity with
others.
Wishing you the best for a lifetime of sharing, blessings and success,
Jill and Richard Swerdlow
